The Bryan College Pathway
The Bryan College pathway consists of the following steps, which may require additional country-specific requirements:
- Complete your FAA Private Pilot License
- Earn your FAA Instrument Rating
- Complete your FAA Commercial Multi-Engine Rating
- Complete your accredited Aviation Professional Pilot Associate Degree
- Convert your USA FAA credentials to your foreign credentials, if applicable
- Obtain additional flight hours, as needed
- Work closely with Bryan College staff in reaching out to employers
The Bryan College pathway provides 12 months of intensive flight training as outlined in the Program Timeline below, coupled with accredited aviation courses. The entire associate degree program takes approximately 18 months to complete. All flight training is provided in partnership with CFA at our combined San Diego campus on Gillespie Field. All flight training counts as college credit towards your Bryan College Aviation Professional Pilot Associate Degree program. Once you complete your flight training, the associate degree takes an additional 6-9 months to complete.
